This foundational class is all about safety and efficiency. Students will master the core principles of kitchen hygiene, safe food handling, and proper utensil use. The primary focus will be on essential knife skills: achieving uniform cuts, understanding different vegetable textures, and practicing "mise en place" (everything in its place) for organized cooking. The hands-on session will culminate in preparing a Hearty Roasted Root Vegetables dish.
